[edit] Information

A stories of true love and friendship between animal and human. Samadhi is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning "we are one". Through extraordinary stories of pure love and friendship, this film shows that the only existing barriers between humans and animals are actually those we have created ourselves. Tatiana Schneider and her wolf pack in Germany. Sholeh and Mulan the tiger in Indonesia. The orangutans of Borneo and their babysitters of the BOS Foundation. Stefanie Stocker and her two horses Bjorn and Menor in Germany. Fadjen the corrida bull and his savior Christophe in France. The enchantment of Herbert and his groundhog friend Moritz on the highest mountain of Austria. From the forests of Germany, where Tatiana was "adopted" by a pack of wolves, to the jungles of Borneo, where Sholeh's best friend is a tiger, we will discover the magic of these unpredictable but deeply moving relationships. Samadhi shows and highlights the amazing capacity that these creatures have to love. Samadhi stands out from other documentaries, it will make you experience stories of true love and friendship between humans and animals, filmed as we traveled around the world. You will discover that there are no barriers between "us" humans and "them" the animals, the only barriers you will find are those we humans have invented. Animals will help man to become human. Written & Directed by Victor J. Tognola ; Frama Film International in Co-Production with RSI - Radio Televisione Svizzera

[edit] A Friend of Wolves

There is a deep and mysterious connection between Tatiana and her wolves. They meet in a forest near the town of Merzig in Germany. Howling with the wolves, Tatiana is like one of the members of the pack.

[edit] A Tiger's Best Friend

Sholeh has raised the Indian tiger Mulan from a cub to an adult. They spend almost all their time together. From the outside, the relationship may seem dangerous, but true friendship takes precedence over fear.

[edit] The Horse Whisperer

Stephanie Stocker has a special relationship with horses. When riding in nature, she does not need a saddle or reins, but a gentle whisper and touch is enough to guide the horse.

[edit] A Skateboarding Dog

Although learning to skate is difficult even for humans, the French bulldog Meo has natural gifts for the sport. He trains every day in the piazza of Grosseto, Tuscany.

[edit] A Football Playing Bull

Near Mont St. Michel in Brittany, there is a purebred fighting bull that loves to play football and behaves like a small child. He is smart, calm and loves to be cuddled.

[edit] The Orangutan Nursery

The natural habitats of orangutans are being destroyed at a rapid pace, and monkeys who have witnessed violence are abandoned. Fortunately, there are people who re-accustom animals to their living environment.

[edit] Orphan Baby Orangutans

Human-abused and orphaned baby orangutans are often found in the rainforests of Borneo. Rescued cubs need care around the clock, and often become attached to their caregivers.

[edit] In the Mountains with Groundhogs

Herbert Haslinger, who lives in the Austrian Alps, is called the Marmot Man. He rescues cubs kicked out of the nest and rehabilitates the animals back to their natural habitat.
